FROM CHARITY EVENTS, TO WEDDINGS, PRIVATE PARTIES, SUMMER PARTIES, A CRUISE DOWN THE RHINE, MY FIRST EVER FLIGHT ON A PRIVATE JET…….
AND ONCE AGAIN I MET SOME WONDERFUL PEOPLE.!!

Starting in Gloucester, where I teamed up once again with my old pals Brian, Ian & Mike.

I was “Best Man” at Mike & Sue´s wedding…a number of years ago!!!

ONE OF THE FIRST GIGS IN MAY WAS A CHARITY EVENT AT THE “MAYFLOWER” RESTAURANT, CHELTENHAM. GEOFFREY HESTER ARRANGED THE EVENT WHICH RAISED LOTS OF MONEY FOR THE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP, “MAGGIES”.

I was joined at this gig by Gloucester guitarist, Terry Bloomfield, whom I´ve known since my old “EDGE” days. Terry went on to join us at more locations, including Slovakia & Croatia, and has recently been to join us in Tenerife.

SLOVAKIA.
During the summer I made no less than 3 trips to KOSICE, eastern Slovakia.
The first was to perform with Phil Gibson at the 50th birthday party of Fero Sabol.
It was here we met “DELEGATION” star RICK BAILEY.
The 2nd trip, with Phil and guitarist Terry, was to perform at the Slavia Hotel for the 60th birthday party of Pavol Miskov.
Kosice has some beautiful buildings…..

HOLLAND
A quick visit to gig with “Romantic Frank” in the south west of Holland…., RENESSE.

CROATIA
All in all we visited Krk, Croatia 3 times this summer…
Twice for the LOZA CUP tennis , and in July & August as resident entertainers at the MARINA HOTEL.
On our first trip we were joined by guitarist SIMON GWYNN.
UK GIGS…and more
As usual there were SUMMER PARTY nights at the BLUNSDON HOUSE HOTEL, and at SHAW HILL.
There were 2 nights and some dodgy Golf at the GEORGE ON THE GREEN pub, HOLYPORT.& There was a SUMMER BALL at the CARDEN PARK HOTEL, BROXTON , near CHESTER.
And as mentioned before, the CHARITY gig at the MAYFLOWER RESTAURANT, CHELTENHAM.
…..not to mention a trip to the RITZ for afternoon tea with Emma Dupont…and a pose at their grand piano….
& a lovely break from it all in Beer, Devon, for my son´s Graduation at Exeter University…….
& a trip down the road to Branscombe bay…..
NOT EXACTLY TENERIFE WEATHER…….

……as well as a couple of visits to my mum…
ALL IN ALL A REALLY BUSY AND EVENTFUL SUMMER…!!!!!
